Content Marketing
What is Content Repurposing?
Content repurposing is the practice of turning one piece of content into many formats — for example, a podcast episode into clips, an article, an email, and social posts.
Repurposing is the economics of a content engine: the expensive part is creating the original insight, so extracting maximum value from each one is what makes the whole system efficient.
The best approach plans repurposing before recording — noting which moments will become clips and which points will anchor an article. The transcript then becomes the hub everything else is derived from.
A single episode can reasonably yield ten or more distinct assets across channels, which is how a small team maintains a large content presence.
